It is with a mix of emotions that we announce the departure of Standing Voice Malawi Executive Director, Bonface Massah. After eight exceptional years of dedication and leadership, Bonface will be leaving the team at the end of January to embark on an exciting new chapter in his journey.

Bonface’s vision and passion laid the foundation for Standing Voice in Malawi, creating a powerful platform to defend and promote the rights of persons with albinism in his country. His tireless commitment and his team's groundbreaking work have transformed the lives of so many, ensuring a brighter, safer, and more equitable future.

While we are deeply saddened to see Bonface step down as Executive Director, we are incredibly proud of him as he takes on the new role of leading the African Albinism Network. This position is a testament to his outstanding leadership, his expertise, and his unwavering dedication to advocating for the rights and dignity of persons with albinism across the continent. In our view, there is no one more suited to represent persons with albinism on a continental level. We are confident Bonface will excel in this new role, and we look forward to championing and supporting him as best we can as he leads this vital work.

We are delighted that Bonface will remain a part of the Standing Voice family in his new capacity as a Senior Technical Advisor. His guidance and insight will continue to shape our mission as we build on the solid foundation he has established in Malawi.

Over the past eight years, we have achieved so much under Bonface’s leadership, and we share some photos of these happy times.

His accomplishments are a testament to Bonface’s dedication and the incredible team he has built and inspired. His contributions will resonate within the organisation for years to come as we continue to grow and serve our community.
