New Partners

Standing Voice is able to its deliver life-changing programmes across Africa due to our incredible supporters.

We’re delighted to announce continued support for our Vision Programme throughout 2017, thanks to the wonderful generosity of our new and existing funders! Standing Voice welcomes the Charles Hayward Foundation and the James Tudor Foundation as new partners this fiscal year, with both pledging support for the delivery of our Low Vision Clinics in Tanzania. Essilor’s Vision For Life initiative will be an indispensable partner for a second consecutive year: their in-kind contribution of sunglasses, prescription lenses, frames, and reading glasses will be disseminated through our clinics until 2019! Essilor’s transition lenses darken when exposed to sunlight, and are especially useful because people with albinism are photosensitive. The Woodward Charitable Trust has also renewed its commitment to Standing Voice for a second consecutive year. Kennington Overseas Aid, a wonderful trust financed through community fundraising, has meanwhile pledged to support us for the third year in a row! We look forward to their exciting programme of fundraising events this year.

We are especially thrilled to announce a new corporate partnership with Dikscommuniceert, a public-speaking consultancy based in the Netherlands. Marjolein Diks, the founder, has generously committed to donating 10% of all client commissions to Standing Voice. Marjolein’s mission — helping all people to raise their voices, and be comfortable in their own skin — is beautifully aligned with the philosophy of Standing Voice. To all our supporters, old and new: from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
